Sven Flore (RAIL4CHEM), president of European Bulls, welcomes the new line-up in the executive board of the Alliance: “With our new positioning on the European Bulls board, we’ll be promoting our cross-border activities even more effectively in future.” Flore will be replaced by Markus Bertram (RAIL4CHEM) as president of European Bulls from January 1st 2008. Dr. Georg Pammer (LTE) has been appointed vice president. Hartmut Gasser is retiring as managing director of European Bulls on November 30th 2007. The Alliance members thank him for his services in this post. With their streamlined executive board structure, the Alliance partners aim to continue to step up their cooperation. The six members are aware that rail is the main means of transport for carrying large cargo volumes over long routes in Europe. Even since its founding in 2005, the European Bulls RailFreight Alliance has been successfully meeting the increasing demand for seamless, cross-border rail services. The Alliance partners offer their customers international rail transport with uniform quality standards across all borders and sectors. By intensifying their partnership, the Alliance members are on track for the future when it comes to developing further innovative pan-European transport systems. European Bulls is an alliance of six European rail freight companies from Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Poland and Spain. Its main aim is to enable each member to provide safe, reliable, top-quality and customer-oriented rail freight services throughout Europe, ensuring that the rail sector continues to develop as a genuine alternative to road. |
